Virtual Hero is an original animated series by Movistar+ built around the universe of ElRubius, one of the most followed creators in the Spanish-speaking world. My work spanned the full visual identity of the show — logo design and animation, key art posters, and the TV promo campaign — as well as the post-production of the accompanying documentary, which followed the making of the series.
For the series, the challenge was translating a digital-native universe into a broadcast graphic language: pixel-inspired forms, bold motion, and a visual system built to feel alive across every format. For the documentary — De Rubén a Rubius: El Viaje de un Virtual Hero — I designed and animated a system of glitch graphics to express the blurring of boundaries between the real world and ElRubius's virtual one, weaving both realities together throughout the film.
